The Pierce County Parent & Family Engagement website provides information and resources to assist families with helping their children increase their academic achievement. This webpage also provides families with Title I information and upcoming family engagement events. Blackshear Elementary School is a Title I school. Families are invited to provide suggestions and ideas to improve our Title I programs and plans. We encourage parents to visit the BES Parent Resource Room located in the Media Center. You may check out books, study materials, and games/activities for use at home with your child. These materials are free for your use.
The room is open Monday-Thursday from 7:30 am - 2:00 pm
and Friday from 7:30 am - 2:00 pm.
